What a lovely stop! The pub's atmosphere was vibrant, and the local artwork added a charming touch. We spent quality time hiking in the surrounding areas.

My wife says that earlier dining hours would be great for families.

The location of the hotel was good - just a short stroll away from The Cowhouse Gallery. Our king room with a good bathroom was contemporary. It was convenient having a refrigerator, central heating and an iron. The check in was easy, the staff was lovely friendly and amicable.

The only downside was the lack of on-site parking. We enjoyed some hiking nearby, a fantastic activity to unwind.

I almost thought about giving this place a decent review, but the lack of food after 5 pm was shocking. Not to mention, a limit of 2 people per room? Don't expect any leniency. Why was there no welcome gift for my troubles? Clearly, I was not treated like royalty here.

We stayed in a comfy room with a modern en-suite that had a great shower, and it was super quiet at night, which made for a perfect restful escape. The cozy pub vibes were nice for winding down after a day exploring. There were lovely nearby trails for hiking and relaxing outdoors. Just a heads up, the parking is a bit tricky, but it didn't spoil our experience at all! 😊

The room was modern, nicely decorated, and clean. I appreciated the call from the staff before check-in regarding dinner reservations due to limited space. Dining in the pub area was lovely with friendly and quick service and good quality food using local ingredients. Breakfast was cooked to order.
